Northern Lights over the Muttart Conservatory

Auroras_Muttart-2

I find that no photo ever captures the true beauty and awe of the lights. It’s just too vast, and the movements too delicate. They do however make a great background. So instead of just aiming at blank sky with no reference point, I’ve been trying for years to get nice photos of the aurora’s in Downtown Edmonton. And yes it’s more than doable. […]

Back at it: Spec-D 2017 Round 1 Drifting

, ,
Round1-110

So I used to photograph drifting a few years ago but haven’t in the past few years just because I was lazy, it was hot out there, full of mosquito’s, and many other political reasons that I won’t get into. But after I heard that the drifting scene in Edmonton has been revamped and rebooted, I decided to give it a try again.

Edmonton

Man, I’m hungry… Oh right, this. Okay so, a while back I migrated part of my website to a whole new website dubbed kevintuong.com because I wanted a personal site to post photos that I take for fun, or on travels that may not represent my commercial work. This is a piece about what I saw when I went there the day after the evacuation […]

My first thought was “wait.. what?” But regardless, I went ahead to downtown to find some pretty ladies in cute outfits taking selfies, and […]

Different Automotive Photography

It was 10:50am on a Thursday, April 30th, 2015 I was asked to find a photo of someone working on their, polishing, tuning, fixing, preparing – working. There were more than a few additional requirements though. The editor wanted the shot to show the relationship between the car and driver, which makes sense and I agreed, […]

I Don’t Shoot Boudoir

, ,
untitled-18-Edit

It’s probably no surprise, but I don’t shoot boudoir. I mean, first of all, the boudoir photography industry is mostly dominated by female photographers and reasonably so. Boudoir, for those of you who don’t know, was a french term that refers to a lady’s bedroom or dressing room, or private room in general. It could also […]
