The legislature fountains seen shortly after they were open to the public, before the crazy LED lights were turned on. This area used to be a road and ground-level parking lot. But in 2015, the City of Edmonton renovated the area into the Capital Plaza as it is known today, with brand new spray fountains that are becoming an iconic attraction during the hot summer months.
